Private Sector Partners are invited to participate in FEMA Region IX’s first Whole Community Workshop in Oakland, CA on April 1, 2014. FEMA Region IX will host the workshop to prepare our partners for the America’s PrepareAthon! launch in late April 2014.
America’s PrepareAthon! is a nationwide, community-based campaign for action to increase emergency preparedness and resilience. Twice yearly - through drills, group discussions, and exercises - America’s PrepareAthon! will provide a national backdrop for individuals, organizations and communities to prepare for local hazards, and practice actions to stay safe.
