The Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC) is a "fusion center" to promote information sharing across jurisdictions and law enforcement/homeland security agencies. The NCRIC is inviting the participation of businesses.
What is your role during a disaster or in preparedness/planning?
Plan response & recovery actions into all hazards plans and catastrophic scenario based plans for the federal, state, of local governments. Build cohesive teams using diverse stakeholders, facilitate fact finding teams and senior leadership through contentious topics and discussion. Develop analyses and operational concepts to address survivor needs and system restoration. Maximize collaboration between partners and drive progress. Develop goals and objectives, courses of action, and actionable plan based upon intelligence.
Situation Unit Leader for the Regional Incident Management Assistance Team. Deploy nationwide within two hours of activation. Leads a team who collects and analyzes weather, information, news, and local/state situation reports to produce actionable intelligence for disaster operations. Brief senior leaders. Deployed and responded to nine major disasters and approximately five large scale exercises. Planning Section Chief for the 2015 Napa Earthquake Response.
Situation Awareness Section Chief in the FEMA Regional EOC (Called the RRCC) leading the Information Collection Unit, Information Analysis Unit, Documentation Unit, and the Geospatial Information System (GIS) Unit.
Lead planner for the Mass Evacuation Operations Plan, All Hazards Mass Care Plan, Bay Area Earthquake Recovery Plan, SoCal Earthquake Mass Care & Recovery Plan, NorCal Flood Plan, and many additional projects. Lead Mass Care (ESF6) Planner and Lead Long Term Recovery Planner. Lead Planner for the El Nino Task Force, author of the Region IX El Nino Plan (referred to as the Executive Decision Support Guide) which was showcased by Mr. Nimmich, FEMA Deputy Director, at the 2015 IAEM Conference.
