Event Description

This year's forum will be opened by San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.  The enlightening day features a keynote address by Ana-Marie Jones, Executive Director of Alameda CARD. Ana-Marie will apply her passionate approach to preparedness as a life-affirming positive pursuit to the topic of "Collaborating through Social Media"

An inter-active group exercise - Resilientville -- is designed to increase awareness, understanding and trust between community members.  Highlighting the importance of working together, developing decision making skills and building relationships before disasters that strengthen response capacity, this tabletop exercise will be facilitated by members of the American Red Cross.

Thrive has been connecting nonprofits and community-based organizations to government, business, and community leaders to ensure a healthy, safe and prosperous county for many years.  We look forward to you joining us for this important day.

Networking reception follows the forum at 4:00 PM.

Thrive members pay only $25.00 through April 17.

Non-members Thrive members only $50.00 through April 17.
